Erfgoed & Logies Den Heijkant is set in a 17th century farmhouse 1.9 mi outside of Moergestel. It features 8 self-catering apartments, an on-site bicycle rental service and a large garden terrace. A kitchen with dining table, dishwasher and a gas stove is standard for each apartment. A microwave/oven, a tea/coffee maker and all the necessary kitchenware are provided as well. They have characteristic decorations such as wooden ceiling beams and marble flooring. The bedrooms come with box-spring beds and have views of the scenic surroundings. Property info

Den Heijkant was certainly a self-sufficient Brabant farm from 1663, where our family kept cows, horses, pigs, sheep and chickens for centuries and cultivated beautiful products on the land. The farm consists of our home, a Flemish barn, a cart shovel, a sheepfold and a barn. In 2009 we restored this national heritage with great love and care to the beautiful place where we now live. Although we no longer focus on livestock farming or agriculture, we keep peasant life alive. For example, we still have cows that enjoy grazing as much as possible in our pasture around the farm. We also cultivate various types of wheat on our land, which go to the local millers after the harvest around September. By the way, there have always been bee colonies on our farm, who faithfully provide us with delicious honey every year. Our nut and fruit trees not only give our honey a nice taste, but also form a basis for our home-made jam. We are happy to share our rustic place with anyone who wants a Burgundian experience.

Den Heijkant is located in the outskirts of Moergestel, the green pearl of Brabant and the center of the Benelux. On the accompanying agricultural plot of 10 hectares you can enjoy a lovely walk among the field flowers. Surrounded by farmlands, forests and fens, Den Heijkant mainly offers comfort, peace and space. However, centrally located between Eindhoven, Breda, 's-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg, Den Heijkant is an ideal base for a city trip, but also parks such as Efteling and Beekse Bergen Safari Park are just around the corner. Visit from our Dutch only Trappist beer brewery La Trappe or nature reserves such as the Kampina and Oisterwijkse Bossen and Vennen. Den Heijkant is also ideally located on various walking and cycling routes. There are also many restaurants in the area with different cuisines. But of course you can enjoy an excellent breakfast, lunch, coffee with cake and a drink during your stay with us.
