About the accommodation: The Church Fields Studio is a spacious, stylish studio of around 70 m² in Brunssum, quietly located on the edge of the town centre. Fully self-contained and comfortably furnished for work trips, visiting family, or a relaxing stay in South Limburg. You have your own private entrance and stay in a complete studio apartment with a sitting area, dining area, separate sleeping space with a high-quality double bed, hotel-quality bed linen, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Towels are provided. The fully equipped kitchen is suitable for both short and longer stays. Good to know: the studio is set within the building and has no street-facing windows. Daylight enters through a green patio with a skylight, creating extra peace and privacy — ideal for a great night’s sleep or focused work. Fast Wi-Fi, a workspace, smart TVs, a washing machine and a tumble dryer are available. Free parking is available on the public car park directly opposite the building; the Het Smulhuis restaurant/cafeteria is just across the road. Your stay is all-inclusive: utilities and the final cleaning are included.

Why “The Church Fields” A church has stood on this spot since around 1150, with several successors built over the centuries. The current Sint-Gregoriuskerk (1963), designed by the renowned German architect Gottfried Böhm, is a striking listed national monument of brick and concrete. The street name Kerkeveldstraat refers to the green fields surrounding the church. From this history, the name Church Fields was born: a subtle reference to both church and field — past and present.
