Welcome to Villa Abbekerk! I'm Tim, and I have a deep love for historic homes. I recently fulfilled my dream of buying this incredible house and transforming it into a cozy bed & breakfast. The villa is over 600m2 with most original details still there. I'll give you a tour!
Built in 1875 by a prominent doctor, this charming historic villa has a rich past and has welcomed distinguished guests, such as South African President Paul Kruger and members of the Dutch royal family.
Each spacious room features a private ensuite bathroom and picturesque garden views, offering a serene and comfortable stay. Start your day with a delicious breakfast served each morning in the breakfast room. A shared kitchen is available for preparing your own evening meals, with a supermarket conveniently located right across the street. You can enjoy a shared lounge area, complete with complimentary coffee and tea.
