My husband and I live in the Ruhr city of Herne in Germany. We have an adult son who now lives in Düsseldorf. We have always preferred to spend our vacations in beautiful vacation homes with a private atmosphere. That's why we have lovingly furnished our vacation homes the way we would like to live on vacation. All the houses are personally managed by our family and we have been working with our local staff for many years. During your stay, our property management is always available close to the house.

Our beautifully situated detached Villa Beach & Golf with 130m² of living space and unobstructed views over the adjacent golf course was purchased and refurnished by us in spring 2015. You will feel at home here at any time of year. In summer, a sunny, fully fenced garden, a large wrap-around terrace with glass windbreak, high-quality garden furniture and Weber barbecue as well as the proximity to the beach (approx. 15 minutes' walk) offer unlimited outdoor enjoyment. In the colder months of the year or when the weather is not so good, there is a family sauna with a view outside and a glass whirlpool tub for 2 people. In the evening, relax by the open fire and enjoy a nice movie from our free Netflix and Amazon Prime offer or German TV, which you can enjoy on the XL flat screen. Further facilities: - 3 bedrooms, one ground floor bedroom, two upstairs bedrooms, one with extra TV/DVD as well as safe and one with Netflix and Amazon Prime access (1 x double box spring, 1 double bed and 1 x 2 single beds). - Living area with bioethanol fireplace, comfortable living room set, dining table for 6 people, reading corner in the conservatory, XL flat screen TV (via satellite reception German and international TV channels, no Dutch TV), DVD, radio with DVD/MP3 and connection for cell phone etc., small DVD collection, small library, free WiFi. - Modern kitchen incl. dishwasher, oven, microwave, gas hob, coffee machine. - A bathroom on the ground floor with whirlpool bath for 2 people and separate barrier-free shower as well as WC and BD, another shower room with WC and the family sauna with lounger platform on the upper floor. - There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the outside storage room.

Julianadorp is a small quiet village in North Holland, the nearest larger town is Den Helder (6 km), from where the ferry to Texel departs. The area has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands. The beach resort of Julianadorp aan Zee is located directly on the beautiful, wide, award-winning beach and its unique dune landscape. The beach, which stretches over 40 km from Bergen to Den Helder, is 800 m from the park and can be easily reached on foot or by bike. The beach pavilion Paal 6 directly at the beach access is open all year round, another beach pavilion from Easter to the fall vacations. The villas are located in the exclusive Ooghduyne vacation park. The extensive and well-kept park is surrounded by small lakes and canals. The park offers numerous leisure activities: - Adventure swimming pool with water slide, whirlpool, swimmers' bar, etc. (reopened in July 2016) - indoor playground - several outdoor playgrounds - tennis court - mini golf - bowling - 9-hole A-status golf course - par 70 - 5,545 m - golf store - golf school - Covered driving range with floodlights - 9-hole fun golf course for beginners and children - Equipment rental service - bike hire - Fishing in the park - canoeing - 2 restaurants - Bread roll service - and much more. A riding stable, where you can rent horses or go horseback riding on the beach, is about 300 meters away. The nearby North Sea beach begins behind the imposing dunes. Not only the beach but also the unique dune landscape invites you with hiking and cycling trails. Julianadorp aan Zee: The village has a central village square with pharmacy, bank, supermarket (Aldi and Lidl), fish store, etc. There is also a shopping center with a very well-stocked supermarket. Cozy restaurants invite you to eat. There are many worthwhile excursion destinations in the surrounding area, such as the nearby island of Texel, the Ijsselmeer with its picturesque little towns, Alkmaar or Bergen aan Zee.
