Welcome to Holiday Homes Maridu
Holiday Homes Maridu was born from family, memories and a deep love for places where you can truly unwind. The name Maridu is no coincidence. It is derived from our mother’s name Marianne and our family name Duifhuizen. In this way, every home carries a piece of our origin and our story.
Our family adventure began in 1999 with a single holiday home in the Czech Republic. What started as a place for our own holidays soon became a home where others felt welcome too. Over the years, beautiful memories were made, guests returned and a strong bond with the surroundings grew. Not only for our family, but for everyone who stayed there.
Between 2021 and 2023, we Tim and Dominique took over the management. With respect for what was built and with an eye on the future, we shaped Holiday Homes Maridu into what it is today. Our homes stand for atmosphere, comfort and personal attention. No anonymous accommodation, but places where you can slow down and where every day feels like a relaxed Sunday.
Our connection with the Czech Republic spans more than twenty years. We know the country, its culture and its landscapes well. On site, you will be welcomed by Karolina, our dedicated and multilingual host. Together with our digital team, she ensures a smooth experience from booking to departure.
In the Netherlands, we also offer holiday homes in Arnhem and Hattemerbroek. Both locations are set in green surroundings and form an ideal base for nature lovers, peace seekers and guests wishing to explore the Veluwe region.
Each Holiday Homes Maridu property is personally curated and carefully maintained by us. With attention to detail, feeling and experience. You are not just renting a house, but a place to create memories.
You are very welcome.
Kind holiday regards
Dominique and Tim Duifhuizen
