Our brand new wooden “cave” is designed to give you that protective feeling of a cave. The excellent insulation will keep you warm in winter and cool in the summer just like a real cave would. The interior is designed to make you feel at home and sheltered! This cave has all the luxury you could wish for. The high ceiling will give a very spacious feeling. The modern kitchen with Nespresso machine, fridge, dishwasher and small oven and the bathroom with large shower and washing machine will provide the comfort that you are used to at home. Mango wood furniture gives a sense of cosiness, and beds for a total of 4 people made of over 200-year-old wood will ensure a peaceful, soothing sleep. Towels and bed linen are available in the chalet. Of course the chalet is equipped with Internet and Wifi. Perhaps the best feature is the covered terrace. You are staying in nature and therefore you want to be outside. So here you can sit comfortably with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, and there is no need to rush inside, even during an occasional rain shower! And when it is dry you can sit anywhere in the garden surrounding our chalet. We've recently also provided children's amenities, such as a fence at the top of the stairs in the single beds bedroom, a high chair and a baby cot with linen. The park is car free and you can use the swimming pool, playground and soccer/basketball field of the adjacent park free of charge. Please make sure you come to Chaletpark Kempenbos and not the adjacent Landal Duc de Brabant.

We are Lucas and Helen, parents of two young children. We loved the lodge from the moment we saw it, but we can't use it all-year round because we live and work the Randstad. Therefore want to share the lodge and provide a nice place for people to relax and enjoy the beautiful rural Brabant. We're quite busy with the kids, but enjoy any time that's left with running and cycling, both of which can be done perfectly in the surroundings. The chaletpark Kempenbosch is next to a Park which offers an outdoor swimming pool and children’s playground, basketball/soccer field which you may use for free! But there is so much more for you to enjoy! The province of Noord Brabant is well known for it’s culinary quality. Three 2* Michelin restaurants are within 40 minutes driving distance, or ride a bike to Michelin* Restaurant Piekaar in Hilvarenbeek. It is located on the beautiful Vrijthof in Hilvarenbeek. If you fancy a more casual setting, you can enjoy the Brabantse hospitality at typical local places like Herberg In den Bockenreyder after a lovely 15 minute bike ride through the woods, or eat pancakes in the Eksterhoeve. Brabant is also know for it’s beautiful nature: Large Moors (Haaren), woods with large natural ponds (Oisterwijk), a rough delta (Biesbosch, can be visited by boat), sandy dunes (Loonse en Drunense duinen); Brabant has it all! And the Chalet is located next to Landgoed de Utrecht which offers a perfect setting with it’s woods and water for leisurely walks or bike rides. If you had enough relaxation, maybe you would like to sniff some culture? The cosy towns of Den Bosch and Breda offer you beautiful monuments, great shopping, markets and you can even make a canal tour in Den Bosch. Or visit the famous Design Museum or Noord Brabantsch museum. You may also enjoy the van Abbe museum, DAF or Philips museum and the children will love the pre-historical village in Eindhoven. Last, but certainly not least: Brabant offers 2 great attractions. The interesting and beautiful safaripark Beekse Bergen at 17 minutes driving distance. And the #2 greatest amusement park in Europe de Efteling in Waalwijk.
