Alnes Farm is located in Godøy, more specifically the heart of the small fishing village Alnes. Approximately 15 minutes from Ålesund and 10 minutes from Vigra Airport. The fjords, ocean and mountains around Alnes is a unique part of the west Norwegian scenery. Opportunities for recreation in the area are numerous. Are you looking for spectacular hiking trails, summit, fishing in the sea or fjords, rafting, surfing, swimming or just a calm and relaxing environment, you will find it at Alnes Farm. The site consists of a large and exclusive main house built in 1912 completely renovated with additions from 2012, storehouse, barn, boathouse. Accommodation for up to 20 people. Main house: Consists of two floors, kitchen, kitchenett, 7 bedrooms, 3 livingrooms, 2 bathrooms and one toiletroom. Basement apartment: Large kitchen, 3 Bedrooms and living room. Large outdoor areas, several balconies, garden, possibility for boat and private dock. Dining can be ordered from local caterers or the guests can use the modern kitchen for making meals.
We bought Alnes Gaard in 2010 , we knew that the house needed complete renovation and upgrading to modern standards. But we were determined that most of the old style should be preserved . In the ground floor apartment the unique natural stone walls that give a completely special touch. The main floor apartment has a lot of the original timber inner wall, it gives the house one great distinction. While we have preserved the old style we have upgraded the house with underfloor heating, ventilation and modern technology to meet modern people . Surroundings at Alnes makes you unwind and recharge your batteries , we welcome you to Alnes Farm
Outermost on the coast outside Aalesund, you will find a little place called Alnes, in close neighbourhood with the untamed Atlantic Ocean. A small community grew up, basing it's roots on the welthiness of the sea. Alnes is in charming vicinity to the mighty ocean, and is a thrilling view both in violent storm and nice weather. If you are used to a life in the city, you will meet with liberation the feeling of a relaxing atmosphere and a peaceful life. At Alnes you can really set your mind at peace, while walking along the beach or hiking on the mountain. Such a huge impression must simply be experienced, either you're walking in the nature, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee at the local grocery-shop or in the café at Alnes Lighthouse.
