Welcome to Drolsum Gård. Try a unique experience and stay in the barn, located in idyllic and rural surroundings at Drolsum. The apartment includes all the amaneties needed for a real country stay, a kitchen, a dining space with a beautiful countryside view, a modern bathroom and a reading nook. The apartment can accommodate two adults in a Queen sized bed and two children in the loft space.
Positive, dedicated and helpful host welcomes you to Drolsum farm. I love outdoor activities, and like to travel both in Norway and abroad. I like meeting and getting acquainted with new people and cultures. I will do my best to ensure that your stay at the farm will be a memory of life filled with calmness, positive experiences and golden moments. Welcome!
The history of Drolsum Farm dates back nine generations to the late 1700s, with the old main house built in 1789, the old blacksmiths` stable from 1859 and the old storehouse form 1790. The buildings are surrounded by a beautiful garden which the guests can access. Enjoy cycling, walks in the forest and swimming, canoing and fishing in the lake Tyrifjorden. In winter time cross country skiing and downhill is popular activities. In short distance to the village Vikersund with Vikersund Skiflying Area and Blaafarveværket with the Cobolt Mines. The citiy Drammen and Norway`s main capital Oslo is not far away. So here you will get fresh air and countryside life mixed with shopping and city life. Also the perfect place to stay before going to Oslo Airport Gardemoen for catching your flight!
