The history starts from the early XIX c. when great-grandparents purchased a 6 ha farm nestled in the beautiful and peaceful Grimo.They settled down and began dedicating all their time to the growing of healthy and flavorful foods using earth friendly sustainable practices.Since that time it's already 7 generations taking care of almost 4,000 fruit trees,making apple juice&cider and learning sustainable living. Keep in mind all the rooms have shared bathroom, if you are not comfortable with that we suggest you to skip booking with us.

Hardangerfjord is the fourth longest fjord in the world, and the second longest fjord in Norway.Our location is perfect for exploring the many amazing hiking trails in the Hardangerfjord region.Some of the highlights are Trolltunga,the waterfalls in Husedalen,the hike to Vøringsfossen waterfall and HM Quenns Sonja's panoramic hiking trail between Kinsarvik and Lofthus.What's nearby: Agatunet-film, art, cultural and historical exhibits,cafe,museum shop,guided tours.Hardanger folk museum- exhibiting Hardanger embroidery, traditional costumes and Norway's largest collection of old Hardanger fiddles.
