These self-catering cottages are located along the Jølstra River in the village of Vassenden in Sogn og Fjordane County. Each offers free WiFi and a kitchenette. Central Førde is 11 mi away. Surrounded by nature, Jølstraholmen Landskapshotell offers cottages with a view of the river. I am third generation owner of the family business, Jølstraholmen Camping. Me and my husband quit our jobs and moved back from Bergen city in 2012 and we bought the the place in 2013. We got 2 kids and a lovely boxer girl. We love to walk and go skiing in the mountains, Jølster is the perfect place for that hobby :)

Property info

Jølstrahomen Camping is located right next to the beautiful fishing and rafting river Jølstra. We are a GreenKey camping and we are open all year around, all our cabins are winter isolated, with toilet, shower, flatscreen and kitchen. We have cabins for 3 person and up to 7 persons. At the campsite we also have a grocerystore, a gas station, a cafeteria and a green hair dresser.

Neighborhood info

On the camping we have a grocerystore, a gas station, a cafeteria and a hairdresser that is open 7 days a week. 200 meters from the campsite we have a golf track with 18 holes, it is the best golf track between Bergen and Ålesund. 800 meters from the camping we have downhill skislopes and cross country skiing slopes as well, very nice for all ages and skills :) 2km from the camping we have Jølster Rafting, and they are just awsome. 10 km from the camping we have the home of the famous painter NIKOLAI ASTRUP and on the other side of the Jølstravatne, and only 7 km from the camping we have another museum/galleri of another famous painter, Ludvig Eikaas. We also have Haugabreen, the glacier with several trips every week trough the whole summer. Several places to go and eat, farms to visit and a bakery that is open every weekend. They have the most fantastic bread and buns and a very nice store at their own farm. All around the camping and in Jølster we have a lot of fantastic mountains, that everyone can use, all year around. You can go hunting, skiing, bicycling or hiking. In the lake and the water you can go swimming and fishing, Jølster is well known for it's trouth! Welcome
