Want a truly special experience for your holiday? How about your own private island in the Hardanger fjord, boat included? Come stay at Nernesholmen! The house is basic but cosy with a newly refurbished bathroom. Enjoy your day at the island, catch your own fish for dinner or use the islet as a base to explore the wonderful Hardanger region. Nernesholmen is probably the only place in Hardanger you can rent a house on an island and have the whole island to yourself. A truly unique opportunity.
I am your host at the property. The island is called Nernesholmen and sits just off the mainland where I have my dairy farm. I am looking forward to welcoming you.
The Hardanger region is uniquely picturesque and famous all over the world and the Nernesholmen islet is perfect to explore it. Use the islet as a base to visit nearby fruit farms, cider producers, hike to Trolltunga, do a trip to Norheimsund or Bergen or a roundtrip of the whole fjord. Or just relax at the islet, possibly the most beautiful place in the region.
