8 min by car from the E6. Easy access by car and bicycle. Free parking and the possibility to lock in bicycles. Sleep well in a house from 1890 with soul and a comfortable atmosphere in a safe area. Bed linen/towels included. Tea and coffee free of charge. Small fridge with space for drinks and some food. Conservatory with barbecue. It also says ashtray. Bathrooms on the 1st floor are shared with hosts. Throughout August, it will also be shared with other guests. Free loan of washing machine and dryer. Are you coming without a car/bike? CHECK public transport before booking! Feel free to ask. If we have the opportunity, we can pick up on the train.
We are a well-grown couple who live on the property ourselves. Øya husrum opened in the summer of 2024 with the rental of a room with three beds. This room has now been expanded with a small dormitory kitchen and bathroom with toilet/sink. In addition, this year we have also opened a double room for rent. We like to host people from far and near and are happy to have a chat. If you would rather be alone and not have contact with the hosts, this is respected. We are open-minded and everyone is free to live here regardless of race, orientation, religion etc. Welcome to a relaxing stay in quiet surroundings.
Car: Hafslund Manor and Conference Centre 5 min. Sarpsborg city center 10 min, Fredrikstad 20 min, Sweden's border 30 min. Oslo about 1 hour. 8 min to E6. The Old Town of Fredrikstad 20 min. Kongstenhallen is located very close to the Old Town. Fredriksten Fortress in Halden can be reached in 30 minutes. Rudskogen Motor Center 21 min. Insperia Science Centre 15 min. Hiking areas and bathing spots can be found nearby. Walk: Grocery store 10 min. Baker 5 min. Fast food restaurant 5 min. 5 min to Øya bus stop (check departures on the app "entur".)
