Panoramahyttene located on the outermost crags at Sandhåland Camping on Karmøy are one of the most spectacular accommodation experiences in Western Norway. Imagine sitting in a comfortable chair with one of the most spectacular views in Western Norway. The sea, sky, and horizon unfold in more than a 180-degree perspective before you. The ocean foams against the crags or lies still, reflecting the sky. Clouds and light engage in an everlasting dance, creating a spectacular sunset. The starry sky emerges as night falls, and you can lie under the roof window and enjoy it. Nearby you'll find beautiful beaches and the cosy, picturesque town of Skueneshavn. On Karmøy you can also experience exciting Viking history. NB! There is a double bed in the living area and two single beds in a small loft. See pictures for details.
Sandhåland and Karmøy offer many exciting experiences; here are some of them: - Beautiful smooth rocky outcrops right below the cabins where you get close to the sea. - Unique white sandy beaches, with the nearest one just a ten-minute walk away. - Picturesque Skudeneshavn, with its white wooden buildings, charming harbour, and numerous cosy cafes and restaurants, is only an eight-minute drive away. - An eldorado of hiking areas in Karmøyheiene (Karmøy Hills) and along the coast. - Syreneset Fort, with its wartime history. It’s a nice bike ride from here. - Avaldsnes with its fascinating Viking history. - Visnes with its distinctive mining history. - Many opportunities for fishing. … and much more.
