The open sea is right outside your doorstep, and for the adventurous, we offer rowboat or kayak rentals at a friendly price. The rowboat seats two people who can row together. We recommend bringing your own bed linen, towels and kitchen cloths. If needed, we offer a complete package for NOK 250 per person.

The cabin is idyllically located on the Flørenes peninsula, an old harbor with long-standing traditions. Here you’ll find great hiking opportunities right outside your door. The area has a network of trails, and the highlight is Fløresteinen – a viewpoint just over 80 meters above sea level, offering a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the coastline and the open sea. For those who prefer wider and stroller-friendly paths, I recommend a trip to the Kaldvell area. There, you can follow a scenic riverside trail and end up at the popular day-trip cabin, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the view. Lillesand town center is only a 5-minute drive away. This charming Southern Norwegian town is known for its white-painted wooden houses, cozy small shops, inviting cafes, restaurants, and interesting museums. The atmosphere is peaceful and truly authentic. If you’re up for a short drive, Brekkestø is a hidden gem you shouldn’t miss. This old harbor village is full of charm, and during summer, you can try what is said to be Norway’s largest ice cream. A visit to the newly opened café, Brekkekjær Pensjonat, is also highly recommended – perfect for a coffee break in maritime surroundings.
