Bygningen er et stort gammelt murhus som ble bygd i 1912 av sanitetskvinnene for behandling av tuberkulosepasienter. Huset ble totalrenovert i 2025. Leiligheten er helt ny med to soverom, kjøkken, oppholdsrom og bad. Franske balkonger og nydelig utsikt over fjord og fjell.. Veldig fint turterreng i umiddelbar nærhet. Det er gode parkeringsmuligheter på eiendomen. Huset ligger et steinkast fra sjøen hvor det er fine bademuligheter. Det er enkel tilkomst til sjøen. Det tar ca 12 min å gå til sentrum eller 2 min med bil
Volda er det perfekte utgangspunkt for fine dagsturer til Ålesund, Geirangerfjorden, Briksdalsbreen, Hjørundfjorden, Fuglefjellet på Runde osv. Om du liker å gå turer er det muligheter for alle, både for de som liker skarpe toppturer eller de som ikke vil gå bratt. På vinterstid er Sunnmøre et av de beste stedene i Norge for toppturer Kort vei til flyplass med bil. ca 5 min
