This cute home is nestled in the heart of Hanmer Springs and really is a hidden treasure. It is situated up a shared driveway and is only a hop, skip and a jump to the Hanmer forest walks and a leisurely stroll to the hot pools and village. The property is fully double glazed with an open plan lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen area with a log fire to keep you cosy in winter as well as a heat pump to both keep you cool in summer and warm in winter – there are also electric heaters available for extra warmth if needed. This house boasts a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and a second toilet which is convenient when there are several guests. The property is setup for all your entertainment needs and includes SKY (including Sky Sport), Chromecast, unlimited Wi-Fi and a DVD player with plenty of DVD’s to watch on those rainy days. There are also board games to enjoy along with colouring pencils and books for the children. There is also a TV which operates off Chromecast in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a lovely queen sleigh bed with a good quality mattress and electric blanket. The second bedroom has one double bed while the third has a single bed. The outdoor area is surrounded by a garden setting which also provides plenty of privacy and space for your children to play safely. Pets are welcome in this fully fenced home and for you and your pet’s convenience there is a pet flap which is suitable for small to medium dogs off the lounge area. Please note: this home provides a wheelie bin for your rubbish requirements.

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
