Property info

This three bedroom, a-frame home is in a sunny spot with good outdoor decks. It is an easy walk to shops, forest tracks and the pools. The three bedrooms are upstairs while the living, kitchen and bathroom are downstairs. Electric blankets are on three of the single beds. There is a log fire with a fireguard, dishwasher, TV, laundry (under the house), BBQ and off street parking. Whilst this home welcomes pets, this section is not fenced. Not suitable for young children as has a spiral staircase and no guard around fire place. Please note: this home provides a wheelie bin for your rubbish requirements.

Hanmer Springs is a lovely small village set in an alpine environment on the edge of the Southern Alps in the South Island of New Zealand. The village is located at an altitude of approximately 400 metres (1300 feet). This provides a crisp clear climate, with snow falling during winter on several occasions. The geothermal nature of the area has provided the beautiful Thermal Springs Reserve in which to relax, and it is second to none other in New Zealand. The combination of the colder climate and the thermal pools normally sitting at 25-42 degrees Celsius, or 77-18 degrees Fahrenheit is both invigorating and relaxing. The lucky guests get to soak in the thermal pools when it is snowing (for no extra charge) - how lucky are they?
