The POD, Apple Valley has stunning views over the Waimea Estuary and Richmond Ranges. It is designed for comfort and relaxation with internal bathroom with shower and dedicated outdoor space on the deck with shower and bath. Complimentary bath soaks and oils supplied. The POD has a kitchenette with toastie maker and toaster + tea and coffee making facilities, there is also a covered outdoor area on the deck with a electric stove top Designed for natural light and to wake to stunning sun rises. You can leave all blinds and curtains open to enjoy the stars, rising moon and sunrise or close yourself in, shut the room off close all the blinds - for a sleeping haven. Your bed is a queen bed w luxury linen, if you really want to cosy up there is additional duvets available. There is also a sauna available for you, all instructions are both in the sauna and in your room - just to the west of the POD Note this is a working apple orchard there may be orchard workers around between 8am and 5pm after than it is pretty quiet.

Hello from Jane & John We purchased this property in 2024 from once being 100% Apple Orchard, we have cleared half of the Apple trees and built The POD, and The LOFT - we will add additional buildings in time. But at the moment our focus is on planting and creating a relaxing and special environment for our guests to stay. We do live on site in The LOFT - this will also at some stage turn into accommodation but at the moment our home but very private from The POD

We are very close to Mapua Wharf, lovely part of the world. We are just off the main highway to the Able Tasman National Park so great place to stay if you want a night of luxury before you start walking the Abel Tasman Track or on your return. Close to both Richmond (all amenities) 28 minutes to Nelson airport and Nelson City 35 minutes. Mahana is a very beautiful, perfect for relaxing and exploring all around the Tasman district.
