South AfricaIt was our first time in Nelson, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and eager to help when needed. They were very accommodating with check-in because our ferry was canceled, so we had a late check-in. When we arrived, they had left the heater on for us, so we were welcomed into a warm house. The unit is on the same property but very secluded and private.
I loved the outdoor seating area; it was very nice to sit and have a coffee in the sun. It was a space our dog enjoyed as well. The theme of the room was lovely and felt very homey. We had everything we needed.

This may have been the most beautiful place we've ever stayed. The huge windows facing the water...allowing you to see the beauty from the bedroom, living room, dining room/kitchen were fabulous. The commitment to recycling was great. The outdoor tub....looking over the hills and water (with a glass of wine in hand)...was a piece of heaven.

Absolutely stunning apartment in one of the most beautiful spots in NZ. I cannot highly recommend Kaiteriteri Reserve enough, exceeded expectations. Family and kids had a magical time, we had everything we needed. Thank you Laura and the lovely staff, can't wait to come back again soon

My room was very comfortable, warm and inviting. Coming out of the bush to the Alpine Lodge was like walking into a mirage.
The food at the restaurant was incredible and the laundry facilities well priced.
It was so good, I went back 5 days later.

PRIMITIVE toilet n Out of national Standard for a toilet.
PRIMITIVE toilet n Out of national Standard for a toilet. No running water.. n too difficult to use shower.. no door knob n can not lock the bathroom door, so no point to stay there.. toilet is the priority.. not only bed n cleanliness.

The accommodation had everything without excelling.
The accommodation had everything without excelling. We liked Little Kaiterteri as it’s quieter but with an easily accessible beach of good quality and a 15 minute coastal path walk to the livelier Kaiterteri. We used it as a base to see some of Abel Tasman. We could have stayed longer if we’d had the time to.

Philip is a wonderful host.
Philip is a wonderful host. HIs property is beautiful, well cared for and super friendly. The breakfast which is included is first class and home cooked. Highly recommend this accommodation if your are passing through Murchison

A really lovely place to visit, we used the salt water pool next morning and breakfast at toad hall, great food and coffee and can highly recommend. Also the laundry place in the Main Street was very good value and was clean and easy to use.

This is a stunningly beautiful spot with excellent access to Abel Tasman National Park. The Park Centre had basic supplies and very helpful staff. Unfortunately both cafes were closed for the season when we were there but Fat Tui's fish and chips was a decided bonus!

We love this beach - especially in winter!
We love this beach - especially in winter!
It is also very close to some special places - Tata and Ligar Beaches, the Wainui Falls, the Grove Reserve and more - always something new to discover.
Molly Bs is to be reccommended…and the cafes of Takaka are not far away.

The local tavern and the Court House provided good quality...
The local tavern and the Court House provided good quality meals. I went gold fossicking up the Aorere River. This place is the perfect location to stay at for this purpose. Ecotouring is supported from here for visiting Farewell Spit.

A busy town which attracts many holiday makers and artists.It has a good range of services and it is near to some wonderful natural attractions such as the Wainui Falls,The Glade and the Abel Tasman National Park.

St arnaud is the starting point for discovering the delights...
St arnaud is the starting point for discovering the delights of Nelson Lakes National Park. The town and the surroundings are extremely picturesque and the walks in the national park remain some of my favourites in the South Island. Beautiful beech forests. Also very nearby are dedicated mountain bike trails that are great fun.

We had a lovely dinner at The Apple Shed, great service, friendly and enjoy our dinner.
Market on Sundays just before xmas to April.
