Absolutely stunning apartment in one of the most beautiful spots in NZ. I cannot highly recommend Kaiteriteri Reserve enough, exceeded expectations. Family and kids had a magical time, we had everything we needed. Thank you Laura and the lovely staff, can't wait to come back again soon

This is a stunningly beautiful spot with excellent access to Abel Tasman National Park. The Park Centre had basic supplies and very helpful staff. Unfortunately both cafes were closed for the season when we were there but Fat Tui's fish and chips was a decided bonus!

I was very surprised with the good size of the cabin and the amount of appliances including fridge. All bedding and towels supplied. We upgraded to this unit for a small extra price but was still very cheap. The amenity block was handy for all campers.

The road to get there was beautiful and curvy...be careful.

The road to get there was beautiful and curvy...be careful. The area is beautiful. The only downfall was that there was only one restaurant open for dinner when we were there on April 7th, however, the restaurant, Hooked On Marahau, was very good.

Peaceful an alternative to the bustling Kaiteriteri-Sandy - good coffee at the restaurant at the start of the Abel Tasman NP . The Aqua taxi was really worth doing and spend the day at the split Apple beach

Marahau is the perfect spot to base yourself for the Abel...

Marahau is the perfect spot to base yourself for the Abel Tasman track. It's near Kaiteriteri but not as busy. We had coffee and ate dinner at Hooked, lovely spot and friendly staff. You can take day trips by water taxi to the Abel Tasman, kayak, hike and swim at the bays.

We arrived in Marahau in order to walk on the Abel Tasman...

We arrived in Marahau in order to walk on the Abel Tasman track. It is a small township, and we enjoyed walking down to the bay for the sunset. We had chosen the Aqua taxi to transport us up to the start of our walk, and enjoyed the efficiency and novelty of that experience. Just a warning to other travellers, By mid May, the little township is settling in for the ‘off’ season, which means that there are fewer grocery and eating options. We had been forewarned and had collected groceries at Motueka.
