Originally built in 1946, the property is a striking example of New Zealand's post-war Art Deco architecture. During your stay, you're welcome to wander through the landscaped gardens and appreciate the character and craftsmanship of this distinctive home. The studio has its own private entrance and dedicated off-street parking, allowing guests to come and go with ease while enjoying complete privacy. Inside, you'll find a luxurious NZ King bed with premium cotton linen, a natural latex topper and organic wool bedding, all carefully chosen to provide a wonderfully comfortable and restful night's sleep. Comfortable 1940s armchairs, carefully selected furnishings and subtle Art Deco touches reflect the heritage of the property. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, making it ideal for breakfast or light meals. The spacious bathroom features filtered water throughout, including the shower, a generous walk-in shower with excellent water pressure, and a heated towel rail. A quiet heat pump provides year-round heating and cooling to ensure your comfort in every season. Whether you're returning from a day exploring Hawke's Bay or simply enjoying a slower pace, the studio is a place to relax and recharge. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a game on the croquet court, putting green or bowls green, adding a unique touch to your stay.
