Beautiful views, terrific breakfast and close to hiking trails. Beds were comfy and the place was very eco-friendly. Helen, who lives there, is a friendly, knowledgeable host. Fine for a short stay.

Off-grid living with me in my home with mountain panorama. Facilities are shared, including bathroom and living space
I have been hosting since 2012. I previously worked at DOC's Arthur's Pass Visitor Centre. I keep spin wool, cycle (bikepack), packraft, read and am learning the cello. I have plenty of "grandies", and in a previous era, was a preschool teacher
