Wake up under the timber beams of a 19th-century church. Chapel Apartments is a two-bedroom, self-contained apartment inside the former Moray Place Congregational Church — built in 1861 to a design by Dunedin architect David Ross, and one of the oldest churches in the city. The original Gothic stonework, soaring beams and stained-glass windows are all still here. In 2005 the building was carefully repurposed into private apartments, so you can enjoy the heritage without giving up modern comforts.

I love hosting this very special apartment, and my aim is simple: for you to arrive, settle in, and feel completely at home from the moment you let yourself in. Check-in is by your own key code, so there's no waiting on me and no fixed arrival time to stress about; come and go on your own schedule. I'm only a call or message away if you need anything, and I always reply as quickly as possible.
We are located in the heart of Dunedin. Right across the road are several restaurants and a divine wee coffee shop. Dunedin's famous Octagon with its statue of Robert Burns, is just a 2 minute walk. The Dunedin Public Art Gallery and many more shops and restaurants are located in this area. The Toitū Otago Settlers Museum and Dunedin Public Art Gallery are both an easy walk, and the Botanic Garden and beaches are within a short drive or bus trip. The nearest bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk. The apartment is quiet and secluded, but the city bustles around this location.
