Stylish, large, new, sunny, private, children-friendly designer eco-home, 4 bdrm Copper Gate features a distinctly 'arty' NZ flavour on a farmlet with stunning valley, sea and mountain views. Set in 7 acres of fields and fruit trees near Mapua seaside village, Copper Gate is creatively themed around heritage NZ domesticity yet has smart, ultra-modern design. Outdoor bath too - bask under the Milky Way. French doors open onto decks with Seaton Valley, sea and mountain views beyond. 1 or 3 bdrm options for Copper Gate off-peak - close off the other 3 bedrooms and stay in the Paris Suite for a romantic getaway at a reduced rate. Copper Gate is built with sustainability and family-friendly principles in mind. We value our natural environment (open spaces, birds and native trees). We have spray-free orchards – grab a lemon for your G&T on the deck, or enjoy a delicious breakfast grapefruit. Solar panels, super insulation and sunny design make this an ideal 1-2 family destination or a romantic haven for 2 (1 bdrm Paris Room option - see separate Paris Suite listing). Children welcome – Copper Gate is fenced and there is a playground, treehut, chickens/sheep. Combine with Corru Gate (3bdrm cottage) or Kissing Gate (glamping site). No smoking or smokers. Explore the Great Taste Trail - NZ's premier cycle trail on Copper Gate's doorstep. Mapua seaside village, with it's beaches, artisans, restaurants, boutique brewery/shops and gorgeous vineyards, olive groves and wide open countryside is a delight to explore - and so close to Abel Tasman and Nelson.
