Beautiful 7 acres of organic orchards, fields (with tame sheep) and views from the property down the valley to the sea and mountains. Guests love to walk around the property and feed the chickens and sheep or simply relax. 4 minutes to the Mapua Wharf. Famous wineries like Neudorf and Mahana are just up behind Corru Gate.
Adele and Roger have one of the most established and relaxing guest accommodations in the rural Nelson area. We have traveled widely and as Kiwis we relish sharing our bit of paradise with guests. Our 2 children have now left home. Adele is a wonderfully creative designer - Corru Gate cottage, Copper Gate house, and Kissing Gate glamping are fine examples of quirky design.
The ultimate Nelson lifestyle! Not only is Corru Gate nestled on 7 glorious acres beside Mapua seaside village, but it is also at the wine, artisan, beach and cycle trail hub of Nelson. The Mapua Wharf has some of Nelson's best cafes/restaurants. The city is just 25 minutes away and the cottage is therefore midway between Nelson and Abel Tasman National Park.
