The eco cabin has incredible sea views and is a perfect, private place to relax on the coastal walkway for those who enjoy nature. It is 10 minutes off the Queen Charlotte Track in Endeavour Inlet. There is NO ROAD in. It is a perfect place to relax for a night or two for those walking the Queen Charlotte Track. Access is by walking, biking or by boat and a good level of fitness/agility is required. We are 19km from Ship Cove, roughly a 5-6 hour walk depending on your speed, (4km from Furneaux Lodge). The cabin is signposted, 400m off the QC Track. The Rayner cabin was built by ourselves to suit those who value comfort, enjoy sustainable living and appreciate being surrounded by nature. We are off grid and we value our small footprint on the environment - this is reflected in our facilities. The cabin runs off solar power and water is from rain collection. We have only 12 Volt power in the cabin and this provides lighting and small device charging only. The outdoor areas are made from mostly recycled and re-used materials and have practical and rustic charm. The cabin, outdoor kitchen and outdoor bathroom are separate buildings joined by a series of steps. The toilet is a composting toilet. The shower runs on LPG gas. For those families with children, 2 extra guests can tent if requested.
