We have a beautiful 1930s character home in a nice quiet area of Mornington. Super convenient location with just a 5 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the local supermarket, a great tavern, restaurants, takeaways & cafes. Bus stop just around the corner or 5 minutes drive to the Octagon, the heart of Dunedin city, and some of our beautiful heritage buildings and must see sights. A perfect private retreat for couples or solo travellers. We have a tastefully decorated private room that enjoys all day sun and comes complete with ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed and shares the owner's bathroom facilities. A kitchenette between the bedrooms provides fridge, microwave, rice cooker, air fryer, toaster and kettle, plates and cutlery etc for preparing your own breakfast or light meals. Complimentary tea and coffee provided as well. There are USB ports in the power sockets each side of the bed and another in the kitchenette. Large sunny deck area with BBQ and outdoor seating area.
We are seasoned travelers and love staying in B&B or private apartments and now we feel the time is right to share our beautiful home with other travelers.
Mornington is a lovely hill suburb of Dunedin and is just a few minutes drive to the CBD. A park opposite our home has great views of the inner harbour and Otago Peninsula and is a great place to sit and watch the sunrise or sunset. Also very handy to the southern motorway exit out of the city to the airport or Central Otago.
