During your stay our friendly team can inform you about the local attractions and activities such as Caroline Bay Beach, voted one of the top 10 beaches in New Zealand, where you may find little blue penguins to view for free, or head to the river and fish for Trout and Salmon. There plenty of family activities such as the Christmas Carnival at Caroline Bay that runs for 3 weeks from boxing day, with family entertainment daily and child friendly museums with rare Maori rock art tours.
