The space that we lived in was impeccable beautiful gardens surrounded our stay an easy walk to town to eat. in the morning breakfast was magnificent and our conversation was engaging and interesting. We attended a Ukulele Festival in Geraldine which was...
We attended a Ukulele Festival in Geraldine which was brilliant. Geraldine itself was interesting, we think we would go again just to visit the places we had no time to see. There were lots of wonderful eateries, Mundells, Barkers, the Thai restaurant, Verde… . Very easy to walk around the town. The festival is a yearly event with a wide range of musical styles, so would appeal to anyone, even just as a series of concerts.

I rehearsed with an orchestra in the Domain Pavilion.
I rehearsed with an orchestra in the Domain Pavilion. It was light and airy and close to town. I enjoyed a little “prayer for peace” at St Mary’s Church.
The restaurants are good. Had two very good meals at the Village Inn.
There were quite a few tourists in this pretty town.
The Saturday market in front of the church had some lovely hand crafted things.

Enjoyed a short stop in Geraldine enroute to Peel Forest and our accomodation. Great looking holiday town.
Some important history is secured in the restored museum. The cafe culture is well developed.

An easy place to wander around.
An easy place to wander around. It was a shame that we did not have time to visit all of the local museums and nature walks.
A great option for eating is Verde Geraldine two doors down the street. They have a lovely garden to sit out in and the full breakfast was lovely.

Good for one night as a rest for a long journey.
Good for one night as a rest for a long journey. The Pub was good for dinner but very loud inside and we couldn't hear each other at our table. Next day we went to Barker's Cafe which was very good for mid-morning coffee.

We were travelling on to another destination so had only planned to stay 1 night. Geraldine is a lovely township. Worth a visit. The Barkers shop is a must. The café is superb. Plenty of other excellent places to eat. Everything pretty much within walking distance.

Absolutely superb! Sue and John couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Our room looked out on a lovely tranquil garden setting, the perfect place to relax in the afternoon sun with a wine and a book! Our area included a separate lounge and bedroom which was really comfy. But the jewel in the crown was Sue's delicious cooked breakfast. You wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Geraldine.

Very clean, neat and beautiful house! Owner is very very nice and friendly. She has a beautiful garden with fully flowers. We enjoyed staying there and feel like to visit her house again!
