My home was built in 1910 and has a lot of character, but also has all the usual features of a modern home. The room you will be staying in is situated at the back of the house and is completely separate from the main house, so your privacy is assured. The house is in a very quiet part of the street, with no noisy neighbours or street noise.
I have been hosting guests for more than a decade, including several years hosting in Japan and several more at my homein Invercargill, I enjoy meeting people from all New Zealand and the world and want your stay in Invercargill to be a pleasant and enjoyable one.
The house is directly across the street from a large supermarket, so it is very easy to purchase any food you might need to keep you going.Just around the corner is Fat Bastard Pies, which in my opinion bakes the best pies in New Zealand. The queue out the door every lunchtime speaks for itself! Within easy walking disdtance is downtown, including the recently opened 'Invercargill Central' shopping mall which contains shops, cafes, dining and a cinema complex. Queens Park, the most beautiful public park in New Zealand, is also within easy walking distance.
