Please note that while the main living area is quite spacious, the second single bed is in an adjacent bedroom which is small (approximately 1.6m x 3.5m) with no window. Access from the small bedroom to the bathroom is through the main living area. The best description of the layout of this property would be that it is a Studio Apartment with an additional small children's bedroom. While the property can accommodate 3 adults, it is best suited for a couple, or a couple with a child, with the child occupying the small bedroom. There is a floor map in the photos section which shows the layout of the property.
Waipahihi is a beautiful neighbourhood outside of the Taupo CBD. It is an 800 meter walk to the lake, and less than a two minute drive to the popular DeBretts Spa and Water Park. Another popular attraction is the Botanic Gardens which is a five minute walk away. The Taupo CBD is a 5-10 minute drive depending on the time of the day. Guests have also commented that they like to stay here because of the close proximity to the Hilton Hotel for weddings.
