Being located up the hill but opposite the boat launching ramp means there's always something to look at. Kaiteriteri is a thriving place in the summer months then through the shoulder season and winter is one of the most prestine and surreal locations to spend a week, just escaping life. Kayaking, Walking, Mountain Biking, Cruises into the Abel Tasman National Park are right in front of your accommodation. It is just 200 metres along the road to book the many activities that are available or let us assist. Kaiteriteri Retreat is split over three levels. Level 1 has our Guest Deck which contains a table and chairs, 2 person Jacuzzi plus sun loungers. Level 2 is the owner’s level and Level 3 is Guest level.

Greg owns and operates the Kaiteriteri Retreat. Having run a very successful Bed and Breakfast in Marlborough we have chosen the Kaiteriteri Beach lifestyle. We love hosting guests and seeing them off in the morning to return full of smiles after a fun day exploring. Greg has worked in the tourism and hospitality businesses for over 25 years and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Greg will be available to assist with any travel advice, help you make bookings and share his knowledge. Although you have your own designated Guest level Greg will be happy to spend time with you or leave you to your own devices.

Kaiteriteri Beach is one of the World's most idyllic spots for a vacation. In the summer months Kaiteriteri is quite a bustling location with its perfect golden sand beach, fantastic safe swimming plus loads of recreational activities which includes mountain biking, kayaking, water sports, scenic cruises, hiking and much more. Kaiteriteri is the starting point for many cruises which enter into the Abel Tasman National Park, multiple times of the day. The options are endless. Kaiteriteri Retreat has the most commanding position of any accommodation provider in the area. It has direct access to the beach with kayaking rentals, scenic cruises and other activities almost at the end of the driveway. Kaiteriteri can also be one of the most surreal spots in the shoulder season and winter. Known for its great weather, spending a week with us to unwind and relax can be an amazing experience. There are two Restaurant/ Bars just 200 metres along the road and also a takeaway facility if you wish to bring food back to the retreat and dine either indoors or outdoors.
