Property info

The Barn at Killin is a beautiful new home on 25 acres of private property, set back off the stoney shores of Lake Ohau, at the foothills of the majestic Southern Alps in the heart of the Mackenzie country. The Barn offers stunning mountain, lake and high country views and private access to Lake Middleton, and some of the best night skies for star gazing. The guest accommodation is on the second story of the barn and offers four super king bedrooms with private ensuite. A delicious and substantial breakfast is included in your room rate. Dinners & lunches can be also provided on request.

Neighborhood info

The area is the perfect outdoor playground. The Barn is just 6km from Ohau ski field & the A2O bike trail runs past our front door. We are a sought after stay for guests doing the Alps to Ocean bike trail, especially if you want to stay in a bit of luxury & enjoy some delicious home cooked meals. Whether you are biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing or just star gazing, The Barn is the perfect place to visit all year round.
