The laundry also features a washing machine and dryer. Large open living area with three couches, smart TV and wood burner. Toys and games available. Four bedrooms, two queen beds, three king singles and one single. Large section with lawn, trampoline, clothesline, basketball hoop and large deck for entertaining. Area is great for fishing, boating, kayaking, biking and walking. Lake Ophua, a 700 hectare lake is only 3km down the road. This is a spectacular and peaceful setting. Plenty of parking for vehicles, boats etc. Extra pillows and blankets are available on site. Guests have full access to four bedroom house and section. Separate garage and spa are locked and not accessible to guests. 40km to Mt Dobson for skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Mt Dobson is family friendly with a big learner’s area and uncrowded trails, perfect for anyone wanting to learn to ski or snowboard. The Mt Dobson ski season runs from the July school holidays until the middle/late of September, depending on the snow. Mt Donson has 400+ acres of skiable terrain and more than 14 trails to explore. 25% green (beginners), 50% blue (intermediates) and 25% black (advanced). They have the Ophua Saddle Triple Chairlift, the Fairlie Ridge T-Bar, the Bunny Platter, and the beginner slope tow. The road is normally open at 8am. We have a shared drive way with other holiday homes so please be considerate to the neighbours if these houses are occupied.

Welcome to our holiday home, we are a family of three and love our time at Lake Opuha. This is a very relaxing space. We love getting out on the lake in the summer months and heading to Mt Dobson for skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

Lake Opuha is a beautiful small lake providing recreational fun. We are 25mins to Mount Dobson Ski field with Round Hill ski field an hour away. Tekapo is 40mins away. Fairlie our local small town provides a Four square supermarket, the famous Fairlie bakery with renowned pies, cafes, petrol stations and boutique shopping.
