Quiet tiny home in the country with a view across farmland to Mt Taranaki, Puakai Ranges and and Kaitake Range. Your own drive on access. Located 20 minutes from New Plymouth City, 15 minutes to Waiwhakaiho Shopping Centre and 6 minutes to Inglewood. Centrally located for adventure. We built and fitted out Little Hurst House with the things we think make for a self-sufficient relaxing stay. With a full-size bathroom and toilet, good sized fridge with a separate freezer, double induction hotplate, 2 interior chairs and a queen bed from where you can relax and take in the awesome views of Mt Taranaki and the Puakai Ranges. There is also an outside bath where you can soak to ease your muscles and take in the fantastic sunsets that come over the mountains. What you see is what you get as long as the weather doesn't intervene.

We live in the house nearby and are available if needed. We will leave you alone to enjoy the splendor of your surroundings.

The area is rural, but not too rural. You can get to anywhere in Taranaki without too much hassle. Inglewood has the best fish & Chips in New Plymouth and is only 6 minutes away. Usually pretty quiet, but there are working farms nearby and they do have the odd bit of machinery in use for hay making and sileage. Listen carefully and you might hear a Morepork/Ruru (Our small native owl) with their distinctive call during the night.
