Mākoha is Maori for Tranquil; which perfectly describes this hidden oasis. It's a self contained unit, provides beautiful country views in a brand new spacious one bedroom apartment. Mākoha is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, but is only 4km to the center of Nelson city. It's the perfect place to relax and have a bbq on the patio after a day out exploring everything the region has to offer. It's handy to a local off-road bike track to the city, hill trail to the Centre of New Zealand.
Mākoha Place is a cute one bedroom apartment below our own home. It's private and has its own separate entrance. The apartment is warm and has great views of the surrounding farmyard hills. It has a kitchen (fridge/freezer, bench top elements, microwave, jug, toaster etc) which opens to the living room (tv, stereo, & sofa that can convert into a bed). There's a spacious bathroom and bedroom (with a queen-sized bed). It is furnished with quality furniture and appliances so you will be very comfortable. It has a private patio with outdoor seating and BBQ, and resident native birds. A port-a-cot can also be supplied.
Atawhai is a suburb of Nelson. It is located on the Tasman Bay coast and is about four kilometres from central Nelson. The Nelson Bays region at The Top of the South Island of New Zealand, not only stands out for its mild and sunny climate, but also for its privileged location between the Marlborough Sounds and Abel Tasman. The variety of its landscapes is amazing: from the famous vineyards to the mountains, the lovely Great Taste Trail, Founders Park, quaint downtown Nelson and the beautiful Tahunanui beach. Endless things to discover. We're just 10 minutes drive to the beautiful beach at Tahunanui, or 1 hour drive to either Able Tasman or the Marlborough Sounds. There's an abundance of cafes, restaurants, craft breweries - supermarkets and supplies just 4km away in Nelson City.
