Set at the end of a peaceful peninsula on the Waimea Inlet, three heritage cottages lovingly restored by owners and conservationists Elspeth and Kim. With sweeping views across the tidal inlet to distant mountains, you’ll wake to birdsong and fall asleep beneath star-filled skies. Stroll the walking tracks through five acres of regenerating coastal forest or simply sit and watch wading birds glide across the water. These beautifully preserved 1950s cottages offer rustic charm, serenity, and a deep connection to nature. A truly soul-restoring retreat in the Nelson/Tasman region.

It’s a popular stop on the Great Taste Trail, with easy access to Rabbit Island by ferry.
