Mill House is a lovely villa, full of character. Built in the early 1900's, it has been restored to include most of era detail. It has recently been renovated, with more on the horizon. Tastefully decorated and includes 400 thread count sheets and high quality towels. Situated in a peaceful location just off SH43. Mill House is also pet-friendly and includes its own resident cat. She is very friendly and well-mannered but is quite happy to camp outside if cats aren't your thing.
We are a family of four that own and run a sheep and beef farm in Pohokura. Mill House was our family home for a number of years. When it was time for us to move to another house on the property, we couldn't just leave this lovely home empty - what better way to occupy it than to share it with the world.
Mill House is situated in a area that provides an escape from urban living and forces you to take time. Situated 50kms east of Stratford. If you are after a few activities to fill in your day, the village of Whangamomona is only 10kms west of Mill House. Get your passports stamped, enjoy a meal or a beverage. The village also has many historic focal points, a Mini Putt and The 'Dolly Gray' shop full of all sorts of goodies. Ask us about going on a farm walk or even a hike to a historic tunnel at the rear of the property.
