Welcome to Mountain Abode Studio! The new place where you can stay to relax, unwind and explore what Methven and surrounds has to offer. Methven Abode Studio is situated on the outskirts of Methven, being only a 5 minute walk into the heart of Methven and a stone throw away from Opuke Hot Pools. Methven is located 30 minute drive from Mt Hutt Ski Area or an 1 hour drive from Christchurch. The studio is part of a newly built house which we moved into in October 2024. Mountain Abode Studio is attached to the main house but is a self-contained place with own bathroom, kitchenette and outdoor area. Guests will enjoy a snuggly king-sized bed, 65 inch TV (with complimentary Netflix and Disney Plus) and a comfortable sofa. Which makes it the perfect place to relax after a big day of adventures whether that’s skiing/ snowboarding, mountain biking, walking or hot pooling just to name a few.
