From your private deck, your cottage (Seaclusion) offers a stunning vista over the bay below and beyond to the Queen Charlotte Sound, perfectly framed by native bush. You'll feel as if you're on a private island, yet the centre of Picton is just a 15 minute drive away.
Your beautiful cottage has a comfy King bed, a small but beautiful ensuite, and a kitchenette (no cooking facilities).
Your cottage is nestled in native bush - you'll wake to birdsong, and get to soak in the incredible views. Simply enjoy them, or wander our private paths to the bay below (20 m), and enjoy a swim.
This is a beautiful place to simply relax and recharge, or to use as a base for exploring the best of Marlborough.
We are avid travellers, and very proud kiwis, so have tried to create a haven with everything you need.
Your cottage is set in native bush, 9km from the centre of Picton. So you're close to amenities, but will feel like you're a world away. The nearest shop/restaurant is 7km away.
A car is the easiest way to get around the neighbourhood. We have a small parking space for you. The driveway is steep but short, and there is a turning area. (You'll likely need to do a 3 point turn at the bottom of the drive.)
We are a great base for exploring Marlborough. The vineyards in Blenheim are just a 40 minute drive, and the departure point for getting onto the beautiful water of the Marlborough Sounds is just 9km away.
