Portobello is located a quick 10 minute boat ride from Picton. If you don't have your own boat then a water taxi is readily available for the transfer from Picton to our private dock. (Jetty Q5184) Parking is available for your car at the Picton Marina
We live at the property next door to Portobello and look forward to welcoming you to our slice of paradise. We have spent a large part of our lives sailing the oceans of the world making new friends and hearing their stories. We enjoy meeting new guests on arrival and then we will respect your privacy for the duration of your stay.
Double Cove is a marine sanctuary and features a wide variety of marine and bird life. A 5 minute paddle down the bay in our kayak will bring you to the tame fish feeding area. Snorkeling is a popular pastime as is watching the numerous resident stingray that regularly swim by the jetty. There are a selection of bush walks from the property offering spectacular views over the Marlborough Sounds. Of course, if you would rather relax and quietly take in the views and peaceful surroundings from the outside deck then Portobello offers that as well.
