We live on a 7 acre lifestyle block in the middle of the beautiful Motueka Valley. Our property is elevated from the valley floor on sloping land, with view of the Mount Arthur mountain range. We have 8 goats, one cow, 8 chickens, and a very friendly cat.
The property has two dwelling, a 2 bedroom cottage at the top of the driveway, and a 3 bedroom house 30 meters beyond. It is a lovely peaceful setting with lots of gardens and lawn. Perfect for a quiet gettaway.
Lorelle and I have lived here for 8 years. We are semi retired, but the property is still a lot of work. We love cycling, snorkling, kayaking, and hiking.
There is a really good vibe in the Valley. Almost no crime and people know their neighbors. Trout fishing is very popular. Also rafting and swimming on the river. The Able Tasman National Park is 40 minutes drive, and there are plenty of other beaches 25 minutes away. It is a central location with many desirable places within an hour or so drive.
