Roebuck Farm is a private guesthouse set within a working organic market garden in Ōmata, Taranaki.
The accommodation is surrounded by seasonal gardens growing vegetables, herbs and flowers for local restaurants and the wider community. It offers a quiet, private stay immersed in a productive landscape.
The guesthouse is designed with simplicity and comfort in mind, featuring natural materials, quality furnishings and views across the gardens. Guests have full use of the space and are welcome to cook, relax and enjoy the surroundings at their own pace.
As this is a working farm, there is regular seasonal activity in the gardens, including planting, harvesting and maintenance.
Optional farm breakfast provisions are available for guests who wish to experience seasonal produce.
Roebuck Farm is hosted by Jodi and Tanya Roebuck.
Jodi is an organic market gardener and educator working on-site in the gardens, and Tanya is an artist and art history teacher. Together they live and work within a landscape shaped by food, land and creative practice.
Roebuck Farm is located in Ōmata, a rural area on the outskirts of New Plymouth in Taranaki.
The neighbourhood is quiet and agricultural, surrounded by farmland with views toward Mount Taranaki and the surrounding coastline. It offers a sense of space and privacy while still being close to town.
