Newly renovated, Roselle Farm Cottage resides beside a farm paddock encompassing pasture, garden, and harbour views. There are sheep and sometimes lambs that you can pat and feed. Roselle Farm is sustainable. We have planted many trees on our farm for shelter for the sheep, an increase in water quality, and for climate change. We avoid using single-use plastics. It is a self-contained cottage with everything you need for cooking and washing. We have included a folder of information so you can learn about our farming practices at your leisure. We are close to many lovely beaches that host penguins and seals. Roselle Farm Cottage has been recently renovated with new and refurbished joinery and chattels that provide comfort, beauty, and charm. The linen provided is of high quality and we service the cottage and surrounding gardens so that your stay is of the utmost comfort. Our farm is a hill country farm. It is surrounded by sea and inlets that are the home of many different sea creatures and birdlife.

We enjoy hosting so that we can meet people from all over the world. We enjoy sharing our little piece of paradise with others and especially the experience of being on a working farm and interacting with the sheep and lambs. My husband Brendon is a full-time farmer and with over 4,000 sheep there is always a job to do. I also help on the farm. plant trees and garden. but I also like to help at the local school. We have two children that help on the farm in the school holidays.

Portobello is 20 km from Dunedin City. Portobello is a small village with a population of roughly 2,000 people. There are 2 restaurants a convenience store and a cafe. We are10 km from the Royal Albatross Centre and Pilots beach where you can view the beautiful Royal Albatross and Little Blue Penguins. We are 6 kilometres from Allans Beach which is the home of many seals and sea lions.
