This property is just across the road from the beach (handy for grabbing a beer out of the fridge when you're at the beach) and since it is on an elevated section with the living and Balconies on the second story, it has great sea views with fabulous sunsets. The house has a great cross breeze and air conditioning and very good quality linen on the beds. There is a Weber barbecue and a full kitchen, complementary bikes Kayaks and a fully fenced private back yard. The house has a nice private bush back garden that is secure for dogs. Please note that there are very steep internal stairs that can be closed off form the living area and that require care. Alternatively, there are safe external stairs, Supervision of small people on balconies and stairs is required.

Located one bay along from the Abel Tasman Nation Park and walk, Tata Beach is the most sought after beach to stay at or visit in Golden Bay by New Zealanders and often listed as one of the most beautiful beaches in NZ. It is protected by the islands off shore and has deep safe swimming in either high or low tide. Native bush surrounds the Bay which brings in the native birds. There are numerous interesting walks close by as well as great fishing at your doorstep. It is a mostly quiet neighbourhood except for the Christmas/January summer holiday peak season when the houses are full and day visitors are aplenty. It is located one Bay along from the end of the Abel Tasman National Park and famous track. We have some of the best Kayaking in the area with beautiful islands just off shore and remote golden sand beaches that you can kayak to with the three complementary Kayaks.( one kayak is a double) The local well stocked shop is a five minute drive away at Pohara where there a several restaurants. Takaka Township which has may shops and a full sized supermarket is a 15-20 minute drive. Its a great base to explore the Abel Tasman National Park and the rest of Golden Bay.
