Down a long driveway is a private home in sunny Waitara. Just right for family and friends to spend time together with off-street parking for 1 - 2 standard sized cars, a full kitchen and a bathroom with washing machine. This comfortable two bedroom home sleeps 4-5 with a sunroom as the optional 3rd single bedroom. A 6-seater dining table provides plenty of space for meals or serves as a work space. Outside there is a private garden, a small deck area and a BBQ. Waitara is a seaside town with a river dividing two long sandy beaches, a supermarket and several takeaway food options. New Plymouth city is a 15 minute drive for events, dining and entertainment. Mount Taranaki is close by for hiking trails, skiing and climbing.
I'm open to new experiences and travel regularly to see family or dance a little Tango. I enjoy meeting my guests and wish for them to feel right at home from the moment they arrive. My optimistic life motto has always been: "Dance, and the world dances right along with you." The stray grey cat that has been living under the house for a while has just started talking to us. If you wish to, giving him a handful of cat biscuits every now and then stops him from going after the native birds. Phone or message me about anything that will make your stay more comfortable.
The neighbourhood is a quiet semi-rural enclave with other neighbours sharing the driveway. You would need a car to get around from this location and travel to New Plymouth is directly along State Highway 3. For events where you would prefer someone else to drive there is a local Uber or taxi service available. The airport shuttle can be booked to drop off and collect you for flights and a local bus timetable is provided for you in the house manual. If there are extra guests to those booked there will be a charge per person per night.
