Your friendly host, Alison, is available to offer help throughout your stay upon request. Typically, she introduces herself to you early on in your stay, then leaves you to enjoy your holiday unless you wish to ask for her help. Alison works from home and lives in the lower part of the house with John, who is often away.

Quiet village location, walking distance to shop for fruit, veg and groceries. Short drive to Mapua Wharf for restaurants, cafes and interesting shops. The heart of Mapua village has a small supermarket, a bakery, pub and pharmacy. Guest parking is easy; on a private driveway. Walking is delightful along the beach or path to the village. Public transport runs on weekdays only, with 4 chances per day to take a bus to Nelson or Motueka. Bike hire available in Mapua.
