Located in peaceful St Leonards, the property offers privacy with no immediate neighbouring properties overlooking the apartment, while still providing convenient access to Dunedin’s city centre, restaurants and the University of Otago. The apartment has its own separate entrance and private parking directly beside the door. Access is via a private 100-metre driveway that is narrow and steep, reflecting the elevated harbour position; most standard vehicles access comfortably. The property sits above the road to Port Chalmers and the harbour rail line, so occasional vehicle and freight train movement may be heard. Heating is provided for cooler months, including a heat pump in the living area, panel heaters in both bedrooms and electric blankets on all beds. The fully equipped kitchen includes oven, stovetop, microwave and full-size fridge. A private outdoor space allows you to relax and take in the harbour outlook. Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Please note the outdoor area is private but not fully fenced.

St Leonards sits along the harbour between Dunedin and Port Chalmers, offering water views and a relaxed setting within easy reach of the city. The harbour-side walking and cycling track runs nearby and is popular for scenic rides and waterfront strolls. Port Chalmers (approximately 5 kilometres away) welcomes many cruise ships, and larger vessels can often be seen travelling through the harbour. Forsyth Barr Stadium is just a short drive away, while central Dunedin and the University of Otago are approximately 5–10 minutes by car. Within around 20 minutes’ drive, coastal areas provide opportunities to see New Zealand fur seals year-round and, at times, sea lions during the warmer months, as well as explore the wider Otago coastline.
