Twizel truly is a slice of heaven being situated amongst vast canal and lake systems of which are beautiful in colour and perfect for the keen and opportunistic fisher. With The southern alps providing the perfect backdrop to the region, and Aoraki / Mt Cook close by, it makes it hard not bask in the beauty of the land. Whether you’re here to unwind, take advantage of what the region has to offer or just passing through, your time spent here will be far from forgettable.
