Ours is a modern house built on two levels with extensive decks overlooking Tasman Bay and the Mt Arthur Range. The STUDIO (De-lux Double Room) has a hot tub and magnificent views from the bedroom. There’s more than a touch of luxury. The CABIN (Double Room with Private External Bathroom) sits atop a private hillside garden and is accessed via a 3 minute climb via steps and a boardwalk (small bags are recommended for carrying to the cabin). Climb the sliding ladder to sleep in the mezzanine. It’s a quirky and fun retreat surrounded by native trees and birds.

David is a jack of all trades. He has worked as a butler and food technologist around the world. These days he writes novels, consults in the food industry and looks after the BnB. Sandy is our main breadwinner, working as a Property Valuer in Nelson. Life is good.

Britannia Heights and the Port Hills is Nelson’s most sought after area. The views are to die for. Town or beach are five minutes drive. Popular seaside restaurants are 15 minutes walk.
